Photomontage mit Photoshop

1 Introduction

Prerequisites:
Knowledge about usage of drawing pen feder.

Notations:
Photoshop menus are displayed as bold.

Used symbols:
• Work instruction
- Sub-step of work instruction

This short documentation shows how two pictures are

combined with Adobe Photoshop CS5.

Aim:
Figure 1 and figure 2 are combined to figure 3.


Figure 2 will be rectified.

2 Crop vehicle

• Open file with vehicle.
• Trace outline of vehicle with drawing pen feder.

• Select paths.
• Select sub-menu erweiterungsmenü.
• Select Auswahl erstellen....
✔ The window Auswahl erstellen...opens.
• Confirm with OK. 		Bild5

• Select Auswahl.
• Select Auswahl umkehren.
• Press "Del" on keyboard.

✔ Figure is cut out.
• Save file as psd and jpg.

3 Prepare figure 2

• Open file of figure 2.

•Select Ansicht from Menu bar.
• select Pixel-Seitenverhältnis.
• Select suitable "Seitenverhältnis".
  i.e. Select Quadratisch.

✔ Image format is equalised.

• Trace screen with drawing pen feder.
• Select "Pfade".
• Select sub-menu erweiterungsmenü.
• Select ....Auswahl erstellen.
• Press "Entf" with Keyboard.

• Fill Window with "Verlaufswerkzeug".
- Select colour for "Verlaufswerkzeug". verlaufswerkzeug3
- Select Verlaufswerkzeug .

- Draw mouse pointer in direction of desired
  colour gradient.
• Save file as psd and jpg.

4 Montage

• open both psd files.
• select file with vehicle.
• Select "Ebenen".
• Select sub-menu erweiterungsmenü.
